Ngati Pahauwera
Hauora was established in 1996. The Organisation employs a Manager, three staff
and a part time general practitioner service. The region covered is Raupunga,
Mohaka, Kotemaori and surrounding areas. The funded health
services provided are: Whanau ora for health promotion
and education services in all MHGPAs One off contract to develop
business and strategic plans Disease state management Maori Rongoa Health services
provided without funding are: Daily local personal health
service for non-serious injuries and medical conditions. General Practitioner services
every fortnight – up to 32 patients an afternoon. Providing service for General
Practitioner and outpatient hospital clients by providing prescriptions,
changing dressings, etc. Ngati Pahauwera
Hauora has approximately 460 registered clients, of which 396 are Maori.
